Cosmo has always been in high demand as both a DJ and as a Cultural and Style Influencer. With effortless style and with music sets that are as diverse as the imagination, as a DJ Cosmo moves through worlds seamlessly, from enormous festival stages to sold out concert venues to sweaty underground nightclubs. Flawless blends, razor-sharp cuts, and the most impeccable selection are all part of his concoction. But on top of that, he has an ability to read a crowd like no other. He’s always in sync with his audience, one step ahead of the times, and his finger is always on the pulse.
Having lived in Brooklyn for the better part of 15 years, in 2016 Cosmo returned to his native Philly to open up Scratch DJ Academy Philadelphia. Scratch Philly - now the 6th location along with NYC, LA, Miami, Chicago & Atlanta - is the industry’s leader in DJ & production education and has taught over 500,000 students globally over the past 13 years.
In addition to his influence in the world or music, Cosmo has always been deeply involved in the arts community, with work ranging from being a member of the Advisory Council of the Philadelphia Mural Arts Program, to having been one of the the producers of the 2016 temporarily pop-up tour force installation Truth To Power held in Philadelphia in the summer of 2016 coinciding with the Democratic National Convention.
